For over 20 years, I have managed Steps House – Paradise Keys in North Phoenix, providing safe, structured housing for men recovering from addiction. Many of the Valley’s well-known 12-Step meetings began or were active here, and hundreds of men have rebuilt their lives through this home and Action Recovery, an outpatient program offering tools and skills for long-term sobriety. As the longtime house manager, I have built trusted relationships with probation officers across Maricopa County, who have referred clients to Paradise Keys for over 20 years.

Two years ago, the property’s owner passed away, and since then, the home has faced uncertainty. The new owners left the property in a partially demolished state, and now it is going up for auction on April 22, 2026. This puts Paradise Keys and its residents at risk of losing a vital recovery resource that has served the community for decades.
