Help Preserve Deb and Bob's Home Amidst Crisis

Donation protected
Dear Friends,

I come to you in this hour of need, really not believing that the clock and fate has brought me to this point. I arrive at this life-intersection only after having exhausted all other options to stay in the home I have lived in for the last 48 years. I have a tree in my backyard who’s root system is pushing over the subdivision wall. I am responsible for fixing it, with Hillsborough County Code Enforcement breathing down my neck. The big tree has to be removed and the fence rebuilt. I can’t believe I am doing this, but it seems my back is against the wall and I am out of options.

Some backstory - Because of Deb’s following medical history, along with having to help raise two grandchildren after my daughter n’ law passed away 8 years ago, I seem to be out of resources. When all the medical problems hit, we did not have great supplemental insurance. It came with large deductibles, co-pays and pharmaceuticals that were not totally covered. Aside from the medical expenses, being sick is just expensive. Amazingly, my credit is still intact, because we do a pretty good job of treading water financially. But, I do not have room in my income scheme for another large monthly payment. I have to raise about $12,000 dollars (net, there will be income tax and fees) somehow to fix the tree and fence problem or be forced to sell the house. The tree and fence are not the only problems the house has, but I will not go into them here, Now, I am just trying to fix the tree and the fence problem.
