Help Preserve Beaumont's History

I am Kutter Gutierrez. I am a Life rank scout with Troop 1971. I am working on achieving Eagle rank by completing my service project, "The Cemetery Sign Project", for three of our oldest local cemeteries in Beaumont Texas. I will build a sign with a shingle roof for Hebert/Nona Cemetery, and two smaller signs without a roof for Pear Orchard Cemetery and Blanchette Cemetery. They will mark the entrance to each cemetery to make them easier to locate. These signs would help further the goals for the restoration of these cemeteries. They would also help show visitors which cemetery they are visiting. Please donate and help make this project a reality because these cemeteries both need and deserve recognition. These are the final resting places of notable local figures such as buffalo soldiers, doctors, lawyers, and veterans of World War I and II as well as the Korean War!
