The Bloom lab is organizing this fundraiser for Prerana, Sid, and their cat Callie after a devastating apartment fire changed everything in an instant. A lightning strike caused their apartment building to catch fire, and the entire building was lost. Prerana and Sid made it out safely with Callie, their passports, and each other, but everything else was lost. They lost their home, their everyday belongings, and important items they needed for work, school, and their upcoming wedding. What should have been a season of planning for their future has suddenly become a season of heartbreak, stress, and starting over from nothing.

This fundraiser will help Prerana and Sid begin to rebuild their lives by replacing essential items and getting the support they need to move forward. Donations will help Prerana continue her graduate training, help Sid return to work, and help them recover some of what was lost as they try to keep their wedding plans on track. Please consider supporting Prerana, Sid, and Callie during this incredibly difficult time. Any donation, no matter the size, will help them take the next steps toward stability, healing, and hope after such a devastating loss.
