Help precious children in need

Blessings brothers and sisters my name is Christian and I have organized this go fund me for our Brother Ssazzi, in Kampala Uganda, where he takes care of orphans who are in need of basic survival necessities. In Uganda out of the 47 million residents at least 15 million people suffer from inadequate nutrition however our donations can go a long way to make a change for these children. I have been working with Ssazzi for six months and all the funds I have sent for specific projects he has worked hard to accomplish and continues to take care of the children, here is some of Ssazzi’s story he has shared:

My name is Ssazzi Shadiq,

I am in orphan who chose to live his life taking care of fellow orphans and homeless children. They are like family to me since we have many things in common, as for now I live with 24 kids between the age of 3-17 many times dogs live a better life than us, sometimes it takes us up to 2 to 4 days without eating a proper meal, many times we survive on fruits like mangoes, pineapples, watermelon, avocados, and jackfruit, which are not sustainable in the long term. Sometimes I have felt like questioning God’s motive since no one deserves to be in a situation where life is all about living by chances, however, my hope and faith keep me going and believing. Some people may judge me but it is a bitter death since here in Africa many people go to sleep hungry and many sleep without knowing what to eat tomorrow. We honestly seek your support to get proper nutrition and better meals, and afford good land where we can put our orphans, create shelter, And grow food for them to fulfill their basic needs and be self-sufficient.. and in addition to this, the kids deserve better medication, just like other children, education is the best gift you can give the African child since it plays a large part in securing their future. I can’t afford all of this since I don’t work with any big organization or the government to make money, we cultivate gardens and at the end we divide the harvest with the landowner because we only rent the land, but this isn’t enough to provide for all our needs

Over the last six months we have been able to acquire two pregnant mothers cows, One goat mother with two babies. These animals will be used for dairy and can help supply a lot of nutrition for the children from abundant vegetation but they are still over six months away from providing milk. Also we have purchased 8 rabbit mothers and shelter for them (total cost $110) rabbits can breed 5 times per year with 6-8 babies, yielding 2-4lbs of meat per rabbit, so for this small cost we will generate around 1000lbs of meat per year, which will add 10grams of protein per child (24 children) per day which can make a big difference as they suffer from protein deficiency.

I share this to show how far small amounts of money can go to change these children’s lives.

In the fertile tropics of Uganda 1 acre of land (costing on average $850 USD) will easily feed 15-25 children exceptional nutrition, with opportunity to generate income and expand the operation as well as cover other needs (clothing, housing, medical needs)

So at a minimum $50 will provide the land each child needs to have all of their nutritional needs for life! That is the cost of one person’s fancy dinner at a restaurant for a child’s entire nutritional necessities to be provided for life! I plan to visit Ssazzi next year when I can save up money we will work with local churches and volunteers to establish this program for the children, anything you can donate will help cover their needs now and if there is extra it will go towards the future projects which we will spend with maximum efficiency to help as many children as possible as there are many more in need.
