Anu and Praveer were filled with joy to be welcoming their first child and on October 16, their beautiful daughter Sonoma was born surrounded by love. After returning home from the delivery, the unimaginable happened when Anu was rushed to the hospital, ending up on life support and tragically passing away on October 27.

Praveer and all who loved Anu are devastated by a tragedy that is nearly incomprehensible.

Praveer is now a single parent to Sonoma trying to pick up the pieces of his life and fill the shoes of being both mother and father to his daughter ensuring that the love Anu had for her lives on.

We are coming together to support our colleague and friend Praveer and his daughter Sonoma, ensuring they feel surrounded by the same love and community that Anu shared so openly with all who knew her. We have started this Go-Fund-Me to help Praveer with the many expenses of moving cross country so that he & Sonoma can have the support of his family. We hope to also help with the cost of childcare so that he can continue to provide for his daughter and their life without Anu. Every contribution, large or small, will go directly toward easing the financial burden on his family as they heal. Praveer’s company has kicked-off this campaign hoping to inspire others who are able to help.
