Hi, I’m Poppy, and in 2027 I’ll be heading to Kenya for a four-week expedition with Camps International, an incredible once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make a real difference!

During my time there, I’ll be working with two rural communities, helping to support education, improve local facilities, and contribute to vital community projects that directly change lives. I’ll be living alongside local families, learning about Kenya’s culture, traditions, and the everyday challenges they face and doing my best to help.

This isn’t just a trip, it’s a chance to grow, give back, and see the world from a new perspective.

I’ll also have the chance to complete my PADI Open Water Scuba Diving qualification in the beautiful Indian Ocean, swim among colourful marine life, and go on safari to spot some of Africa’s iconic “Big 5” animals.

The cost of this expedition is over £5,000, which covers travel, accommodation, project funding, and equipment, so I’m fundraising to make this dream possible.
