Pooh Bear is my sweet Mini Poodle who was born in March and is still growing into his personality. He’s a goofy, loving cuddle bug who fills our home with laughter by hiding shoes and toys in his kennel. Pooh Bear loves to run and play, and he’s always ready to snuggle up with the family after a long day.
Recently, Pooh Bear suffered a serious injury when he was accidentally stepped on. Since then, he hasn’t been able to put any weight on his front right leg and struggles to stand or walk. Watching him try to move around and fall forward has been heartbreaking for all of us. Our local vet referred us to several surgeons, and after multiple consultations, a specialist in Houston is confident that they can repair Pooh Bear’s leg. The surgery is delicate, but because Pooh Bear is still young and his growth plates look good, the vet believes he can make a full recovery and get back to his playful self.
I’ve helped multiple animals and people get back on their feet, but this situation is especially hard to watch. The cost of this surgery is significant and has put a lot of stress on our family. With kids and other animals to care for, this unexpected expense is more than we can manage on our own. We want nothing more than to see Pooh Bear healthy and happy again, and any support will help us give him the chance to run, play, and enjoy life as he deserves.
