On Friday, June 12th, my sister Alicia, and her husband PJ lost their home and everything in it to a house fire. While we are so grateful that PJ, Alicia, and their two little girls made it out safely, they’ve been left with the devastation of having nothing — no clothes, no toys, no everyday essentials, no home.

If you know PJ and Alicia, you know how much they give to everyone around them. They’re the kind of people who show up — for their community, for their friends, for anyone who needs a hand. Now it’s our turn to show up for them.

While they work through the insurance process (which we all know can take time and is quite complex), they’re facing immediate needs: temporary housing, clothing, food, school / camp supplies for the girls, and the hundreds of small things that make up a home and a daily life.
