Help Philip Secure a New Home

Please help my big brother Philip!
He is being forced from his home of 47 years. For those of you from Alliance, Ohio, I am sure you have seen him around. He has been a bus driver for 38 years. What you probably know is my brother was born with hearing loss in both ears, you have probably seen the hearing aids. What you might not know is he was diagnosed with autism back in 1970. Since autism was somewhat new at this time the only solution the specialist suggested was to put him in a home for special needs. Well, my parents were not having any of that, so they raised him the best they could. Even though he lived at home his whole life he has worked for the school system 38 years hardly missing a day of work and is an impeccable driver.
Unfortunately, our mom died in 2007 leaving my dad with a broken heart. The only joy he had was spoiling his grand children. Our father passed in 2018 where we found out he had a reverse mortgage. So instead of the house going to Philip, the government owned it. It is unbelievable that it took 7 years to receive the foreclosure papers (there were dozens attempts by me in 2018 to the lender in regard to settling the matter but no effort were made on their part, I even sent in a death certificate). Now, 7 years later the foreclosure papers come in and the pay off is over $200,000.00. We can’t afford this but my brother has been saving his money and we found a house by Alliance High School in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. This undertaking was quite difficult because the housing market is awful. Any house under $80,000 is trashed and in a not so safe neighborhood.
Why I am asking for help? Philip is really scared and does not do well with change. I just want to make this a little easier on him. He has the minimum down payment for the new house, I’m just hoping to raise about $6,000 more for the down payment so he doesn’t have to live paycheck to paycheck. Plus I want to hire movers because frankly we are not young chickens anymore. Please find it your heart to donate and if you are unable to please pray for him. And one last note, my brother has never taken a dime from the government for his disabilities and for that I am extremely proud!
picture above is of him (Not Jon Bon Jovi) and his two favorite people, his nieces.

Thank You,
Little Sister Jennifer
