I'm fundraising for a trans woman who wishes to remain anonymous while leaving an abusive housing situation. Fundraising goals include first, last, and security deposit for a new home, money for groceries, and recovery expenses.

"Staying housed is my main priority. Having been homeless before I know how hard it is to re-enter housing from a shelter or the street. Resources for domestic violence aren't usually made available to trans women. I moved from the south to escape state violence and the help someone offered was a play for control over my time and body. My support network was whittled away by that control. I don't have anywhere else to turn to."
