Help Phil Coates get back on his feet and home

Donation protected
My dear friend, incredible, inspirational human being, Phil Coates, suffered a traumatic brain injury in January  2019.
Phil is a 'larger than life ' character and has always believed that all is possible but his accident and several other traumatic life events shortly before his accident have dramatically changed his being.
Phil, before his accident, dedicated his life to scientific research and adventure film making and specialized in filming on extreme locations.
He is a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and was very much respected as a member of the SanDisk Extreme Team and Canon Explorer, an Ambassador for Manfrotto & Sennheiser Independent Certified Expert (I.C.E.).
His work is extraordinary some of his achievements and works include , forming part of and filming the challenging 'Caitlin Arctic Survey ' expedition, and being part of the 'Everest Beyond the Limit' expedition and film team. He also features in the famous book 'Face to Face, Polar Portraits', where the world's most famous polar explorers are displayed in stunning photography.
After his accident, Phil not only lost his identity and everything he was able to do before, but also became wheelchair bound.
To show the world that adventure is accessible to all, after just under a year, he set off on a trip to Nepal with a film project for accessible adventure in mind, however this project was on hindsight not only too ambitious due to Phil's physical & psychological condition but also the brain injury in itself and COVID19 and turned into a detrimental situation.
He got stuck during the lockdown in Kathmandu and his condition severly deteriotated. Due to all the travel restrictions and also Phil's own disturbed/ problematic behaviour related to his brain injury, it has been incredibly complicated to get Phil back home to the UK and as so far not possible as Phil needs someone to help him get strong enough both mentally and physically, help him back to the UK and get his life set up back there with the necessary help.
Over the autumn, he has been several times ingressed in the Norvik hospital in Kathmandu with serious health issues, bacterial infections, deep vein trombosis and respiratory issues.
However he is now stable and in the Orchid Care Come / rehab centre in Kathmandu.
The Orchid Care home has requested me to come out and support him there and help him back to the UK as I am the only one who he connects with on a mental level and one of the few people he wants to talk to currently.
I have decided out of love for the life of this beautiful human being and humantiaran grounds, to accept the Orchid's request and go out to Nepal to support Phil and their team, to get him better and home.
This means I will have to renounce my work for the next few months and need financial support to get me to Nepal and during my time supporting Phil.
My aim is to leave around the 10th of April for as long as is needed.
If you like to support a sincere humanitarian cause, I would be incredible grateful for your donation.
