Help Peyton Thrive Despite Challenges

Hello, my name is Josh and that amazing little girl you see is Peyton. I’m a single father who has primary custodial rights to his daughter. We are trying to move to Lake Placid, Florida from Spokane, Washington.

Times have been great here in Washington, but the last few years have been a real struggle just to make ends meet. My daughter is disabled; she had a stroke when she was born, which affected the right side of her body, causing it to be very difficult to run or walk normally and write with her right hand.

As of last year, everything really went downhill. I do not receive any help from her mom at all, even though I do have court-ordered child support; she just refuses to pay it. I have nothing left for me here in Spokane, Washington at all. I lost my car due to someone vandalizing it at the beginning of the year and lost my house and my job shortly after that. It’s just time for me and my kiddo to head out, but funds are very limited and transportation is a big issue as well. I really try to be the best father I can for my little girl, but it always seems as if the universe is against me and her.

We are trying to get to Florida to go live with my grandmother and get back on our feet. We just need help to accomplish this so we can get our life back on track.
