Help Petrinja Rebuild (Bring Back Smile)

My hometown of Petrinja was recently at the centre of a massive earthquake (6.4 magnitude) with many tremors before and after. This has left my friends and family in a very tough situation. People are still dealing with the immediate aftermath. There were casualties and the ground is still shaking today (02/01/2020). The town mayor estimates that around 50% of Petrinja has been destroyed. My own immediate family (father and sister) have lost their home. 

The goal of this fundraiser is to raise money for the small sports club and local people directly. I will be running 10K every day for all of January to raise awareness which I have already begun. I have some additional fundraising projects in mind which I will give more information about soon. 

Goal 1 (First £500): Help local gymnasium club survive. The donations will go directly to the club's bank account.

Goal 2 (Remainder): A fund to help repair the homes of friends and families that urgently need it. Funding has arrived from the international community but this money is tied up in bureaucracy. The donations will help pay for vital building materials. 

I promise every pound I raise will go directly to the struggling people of Petrinja and will keep you updated on progress. 

I will be very grateful for any donations or help in raising awareness.
