Help Pete get on his feet

Please help PETE get on his FEET!! Pete is 70 years old and homeless he has been living in his car for 4 years with his mom who was in her 90’s and has passed away about a year ago.  He lives in his broken down PT CRUSER in planet fitness parking lot on mineral spring ave. In north providence. RI.  My cousin and I have been talking the past few days about helping him into a hotel at least for a month or so till he can get the proper assistance he needs from the government, housing etc. .. Pete was showering and grooming himself at planet fitness everyday but now with the GYMs shut down he can not shower or shave .. he has no one but himself in his car all alone with no phone, no heat etc.. he was fed last night by my cousin and i fed him this morning .. Now is the time to come together as a community and help PETE.. he is will to take the help .. i didn’t want to push anything on him because I’m sure he has mental health issues just from living in a car for so long .. he’s super sweet and walks miles and miles a day so he’s not stuck in his car.

Please anything would help .. I know so many are struggling .. but I can’t do this alone nor lay my head down tonight knowing he’s freezing in his car cramped up wondering if he would have food tomorrow or if he will be safe to close his eyes to sleep in his car.  Let’s do something KIND instead of trying to fight all the time against one another over politics. My name is Monique Pass from north providence RI and I am raising money for a homeless man Living in his car in my town. All proceeds will go directly into my bank account then will go directly to Petes housing for a whole year, a car, insurance, registration, license, gas cards, gift certificates for market and pharmacy and the rest in Petes bank account for him to manage his housing. Update 12/16/20 we have put Pete in a hotel for a few days so he’s not stuck in his car during the snow storm .. any donations added on top of the 10,900 will go towards the hotel
