My name is Pepper. I am a disabled trans woman working to raise funds to help secure stable housing for myself, my girlfriend Juniper, and two friends of ours. Our current living situation is quite unstable and unsafe. Our roommates have harassed us based on our gender, damaged and discarded our belongings, been openly hostile to our friends, and forced us out of shared areas within the home, barring us from cooking or cleaning.

As the primary provider for my girlfriend and myself, I have been unable to save enough for a new apartment due to caring for our cat Pocket, who has experienced repeated health issues and required almost weekly vet appointments, having to pay for my own medical care, as well as recent reductions in my work hours by over half. This has been an extreme toll on my mental health alongside the near-constant hostility from our roommates.
