Pedro fled Colombia with his wife and 4 year old daughter following serious threats of harm from corrupt officials. After a treacherous journey, they finally arrived to the United States where they were granted humanitarian parole. Pedro and his family have rebuilt their lives from zero through honest hard work. Pedro supports not only his wife and daughter, but also his mother and little sister with Down Syndrome. Pedro and his family are kind hearted people, they are here lawfully and have never had any legal problems.

Despite this, Pedro was suddenly detained on February 10, 2026, during a routine immigration check-in, leaving his family devastated. His master hearing is on March 11th. We are raising money to fund a deportation defense lawyer and other costs related to his detainment.
