Help Pedro & Erika Rebuild After Sudden Deportation

After a decade of hard work, dedication, and building a life in Toronto, Pedro, his wife Erika, and their two daughters, Viviana (18) and Adry (20), are being forced to leave Canada this Thursday. Without warning, Pedro and Erika were pulled over, put in jail, and given orders to leave the country immediately.

Now, without much to their name, they are being put on a plane back to Mexico City with no safety net, no home, and no job waiting for them.

Thursday March 13th is their last day in Canada. A horrible situation for an extremely amazing family who've made Toronto a better place simply by being here.

Viviana just graduated high school here in Toronto. She and Adry have spent their entire formative years in Canada, surrounded by friends, teachers, and a community they love. Now, with just a few days’ notice, they’re being ripped away from everything familiar, forced to start over in a place that no longer feels like home.

Pedro and Erika have been an integral part of our lives and our community. If you’ve ever worked with my real estate team, you’ve probably benefited from Pedro and his entire family's hard work. He has been a reliable and dedicated part of our real estate team for years—always showing up, always delivering, always taking care of others.

Now, he and his family need our help.

Their immediate needs are simple: enough funds to secure a stable landing in Mexico, food and shelter for their daughters, and the ability to bring their beloved dog, which would bring much-needed comfort during this traumatic transition—but at a cost of $300 they simply can’t afford right now.

This is an unfair and heartbreaking situation for a family that has given so much to this city. Let’s help them get back on their feet. Every dollar counts, and if you can’t contribute, sharing this with your network would mean the world.
