Good day! I am Roy Wilmore Jr., owner of Peachtree in Kansas City, Mo.

During this government shutdown and food stamp pause, Peachtree Restaurants will be providing free meals for children and meals for their caretakers or adults(only through a sponsor) who are affected during this time. This fundraiser is a direct result of how we’ll be able to achieve this. Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Our funds donated by customers, friends and family are to provide hot meals prepared by our restaurants to laid off federal workers and food stamp recipients at both Peachtree locations.

At this point the restaurants have provided over one thousand hot meals to recipients.

The supplies were purchased and meals were provided up until November 21st.

The funds belong to the Peachtree Cafeteria and will be managed by the Owner Roy Wilmore.
