Hello, I'm the wife of Samir and the mother of our six kids, welcome to my story.

My husband and father of six kids, Samir Mohamed had a blood clot in his lungs on August 18, 2023. This accident led to deprivation of oxygen in his brain and loss of movement and communication.

That experience definetly opened our eyes to the hard world of reality. What once was a calm and peaceful environment was now morphed into a cruel, difficult, painful journey. It pains me to see my husband, their father, be put into a room with machines and medications when what might really heal him is us. You see, after moving him from a hospital to another I haven't seen thorough progress unless I do it myself. He is currently in a long-term critical condition ward in the hospital where he is recieving care,

See, Samir loves to be in a place that's not only open, but alive. He loves that tingling feeling of when people are gathered, children are laughing and the wind blowing against his face. Being hospitalized deprives him of the laughter and limits him of the medical care he requires, you can see how it's affected him. If we reach our goal, we have two options. We could either take him back to his home country, the place he grew up, where his family lives, where his blood runs free. Or, we'll be bringing him to accesible housing where we live together, so he can hear about our days without waiting until the weekend, or listen to the children bicker in the morning.

I've wanted to transport Samir back to our home country for over a year now, but I've been looking for a safe way to bring him back.

My first option when thinking of this was last year, I found an air ambulance that could move him for 200,000$. We tried continously as a family to get this amount but couldn't even collect a quarter for the amount.

Recently, we have settled for this quote to help us move Samir back home, yet we're still finding it expensive.

Time took a lot from us, so we don't think it'll mind if we take one thing back. Him. Catch him up on every little thing, make him feel like he's lived it all. Let him feel that tingling feeling again. Sure, this past while has taught us alot. But, the one thing that has stuck with me through all this is that we've had enough, let's bring Samir back home!
