Maxine Wright passed away on January 30, 2021. We are absolutely devastated by her passing and are struggling to find the funds to honor her legacy and give her the farewell that she deserves.

We need to raise the funds by February 9th toward the expenses for the casket, funeral and headstone. Your gift, if you can, will mean we can say goodbye to a wonderful woman.

Maxine will be remembered as a mother, grandmother, a nurturing soul and for "throwing down in the kitchen." Walking into her house you were greeted with the smell of collard greens and biscuits made from scratch. Walking into her house you knew you were home. 

Maxine dedicated her life to her family and friends, and now we can come together to give in her honor. A viewing will be held at Rose Funeral Home in Bay Shore on 2/10 from 10am-12pm followed by a services at 12pm. More details to follow...
