Hello to all friends and all other kind helpers. I am raising money for Paula and her family, Shirley(12 yrs old) and Michael(10 yrs old). They are the family I was introduced to during my recent trip to Nicaragua to visit a friend. Paula lives in a very low poverty neighborhood in a city(Leon) where the economy is really bad. The average person earns around $5.00 for a full day of work! That explains why she lives in a house made out of rusting tin metal with no plumbing. There are noticeable holes in the tin especially in their bedding area. While I can’t take Paula out of her poverty situation, I would like to make life for her and her children a little more bearable with a suitable roof over their head. The money raised will definitely do that. It will also demonstrate to her and the community that there still are kind, caring individuals whom are willing to help those that are less fortunate no matter where they happen to live.
