Help Patty Get Safe, Secure Housing!

My name is Mollie, and I first met Patty back in 2020, during the Uprising in Minneapolis. We both lived very close to the location where George Floyd was murdered, and even though Patty had agoraphobia, she would come to George Floyd Square every morning to be with people, pray, and mourn with the community. She is a smart, funny, tenacious, and deeply caring person. She has bought me groceries, made sure I was ok when scary things were happening around us, and shared life advice with me which I especially cherish.

Now she needs help getting back on her feet.

Since 2020, Patty has moved to another state to be with her family. But this living situation has been unstable and unsafe. She needs help moving back to Minnesota and getting housing here.

Patty is currently facing homelessness, in a remote area in the Southern United States, where she has almost no access to resources. She is disabled and currently not able to work.

Every dollar of this GoFundMe will support Patty to come back to Minnesota, and establish her life again here. If you cannot donate, please share. And if you are aware of good, supportive housing for elders, people with disabilities, people who have experienced homelessness, or any other helpful resources, your knowledge is also very helpful.
