It's Aunty Becky here, and I'm setting up this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friend Patty Callaghan who is going through an unimaginably difficult time right now.
Patty lost her Mother recently- her close family member and the person who supported her through everything. Her Mom's sudden passing has left her not only heartbroken but also facing a crisis that no one should have to go through alone.
Patty is disabled and unable to work due to chronic health issues that severely impact her daily life. Her Mother was her full-time support system. Now, with no financial safety net, Patty has become Houseless.
This fundraiser will go directly toward:
- Emergency housing (rent, security deposit, or temporary lodging)
- Basic living expenses (groceries, medications, utilities, toiletries)
- Support services while she applies for housing and aid
She is doing everything she can to connect with local resources, but these systems take time- time she simply doesn't have right now. That's why I am asking for your help on her behalf.
Even a small donation can help bridge the gap and provide the stability she needs to grieve, heal, and rebuild her life with dignity and safety. If you're unable to give, please consider sharing this fundraiser with others. No one should have to face homelessness on top of losing the person they love most. Let's show Patty she's not alone.
