This is my beautiful sister, Patty Taylor, and her son Jay, an adult with autism.

This past Christmas Eve, Patty found out that she has triple negative breast cancer. This is an aggressive breast cancer that will need swift treatment, starting with weekly chemotherapy and ultimately culminating in a surgery later this year.

Patty is a wonderful mother to her sons and the only caregiver to Jay. She is a mental healthcare provider and works tirelessly with people who have mental health needs, providing counseling and support to get these patients the best possible care.

I’m asking you to please support Patty in any way you possibly can as she won’t be able to work full time during her difficult chemotherapy and surgery. She will have to continue to care for Jay as she has his entire life. Most of us can only imagine this kind of selfless dedication and love.

I know there are many people who are also going through or have gone through something similar and you know the needs that arise when you’re going through this battle.
