On February 26, 2026, Patsy Blanton was awakened to find her home in flames. The house, where she lived while caring for her disabled veteran husband until his death in 2004, is a complete loss. Since the fire, Patsy lived briefly with family members before settling into a rental home. As she has waded through a nightmare of insurance claims, documents, and various kinds of verification of loss, it has become clear that her insurance will not be sufficient to replace her home with even a small modular home without putting her in debt beyond what she can afford.

Patsy has lived a life of sacrificial service. At a young age, she financially supported her mother and younger sibling before marrying and caring for a disabled husband. She has faithfully supported her church, both physically and financially, for the last 60 years. She has always been a giver to everyone around her, and now at age 81, with her own health failing, she needs our help.
