For Patrick McBride - A father of two and an amazing husband who has dedicated his career to helping those in need. As a retired firefighter and current children's flight paramedic, it almost seems unfair for him to have to fight this battle again. Esophageal cancer is statistically a hard fight but my father did beat it in 2019. However, after 5 years of being in the clear, it has come back. Patrick McBride is one of the most hardworking people to ever walk this Earth and has impacted so many lives through brotherhood, church, and being a tremendous member of our community. He inspired me to go to nursing school and lead my life serving others. With years dedicated to Special Olympics, coaching basketball to the youth, being heavily involved in church, and saving lives as a paramedic, he deserves nothing more than to win this battle again. It will be tough and right now he is working two jobs to support me and my family. With treatment, it is unlikely that it will continue to be that way. That is why this GoFundMe was created to relieve the financial burden of this cancer journey. I could write over a million words to describe how much my father means to me, but those who know him, know Patrick McBride and the kindhearted man he is. Time to kick cancer's ass again.
