Hi everyone! My name is Patrick O'Sullivan and I'm excited to announce that I'll be starting my 4th year of full time missionary work this coming August. Unlike the majority of my prior positions this time I won't be traveling as much. Instead I will be based in Charleston, SC but I will be working throughout the entire state of South Carolina. As a part of the Charleston Diocesan Missionary Team (DMT) I will be holding retreats and other events for 1st through 12th grade youth, providing much needed support to youth ministers, and also participating in various service and evangelization efforts all throughout the state.
Similar to my previous positions my room and board is taken care of for the year. However there are still some expenses I will encounter primarily being travel. I hope to raise a minimum of $2,000 in order to cover my travel expenses to and from Charleston at the beginning and end of the ministry year as well as travel during the holidays so I can be home at least during Christmas. Anything leftover will be used to help cover additional required materials or items needed for my year as well as for my teammates.
