This past weekend, our mother, sister, and dear friend Patty lost everything in a tragic apartment fire.

She escaped with only a robe and the slippers on her feet—slippers she ended up giving to a neighbor who also fled the burning building. That’s just who Patty is. Even in the face of her own loss, she chose to help someone else.

Patty has always been the one to put others first. Whether it was family, friends, neighbors, or complete strangers, she has given without expecting anything in return. Now, she’s the one who needs help.

In the fire, she lost all of her personal belongings—clothing, furniture, family keepsakes, important documents, and even her dentures. For anyone, that would be overwhelming. For someone as selfless as Patty, it's heartbreaking.

We are setting up this fundraiser to help Patty get back on her feet. The road ahead is going to be an expensive uphill battle—replacing basic necessities, securing stable housing, and recovering physically and emotionally. The cost of dental care alone is a major burden, not to mention the many other things she’ll need to start over.

We’re reaching out to friends, family, and anyone moved by her story: please help us rally around Patty. Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly to helping her rebuild her life with dignity and comfort.
