Today, I was at a grocery store and I asked a woman if she had a bookmark I could have for my book. She immediately said yes and folded up all she could find to help me. It ended up being her receipt from a water bottle she had just bought, but she then shared how she was actually a dollar short for that water bottle and an employee at the store helped her by giving her the amount to needed for it. So, I then surprised her with $500 for her kindness, and she started tearing up and shared with me that she has been paralyzed for the last 21 years after a car accident and she lives at a nursing home. She shared with me also that her sister just passed away and it was now left up to her to take care of her 84-year-old mom when she herself is paralyzed…

So I say we come together and show her how much we care and love her and raise enough funds to really transform Patricia and her mom's life.
