Support for Pat & Tina Schindler

Our family is facing an extremely difficult and unexpected medical journey. Pat Schindler was recently hospitalized with an unknown neurological condition and is currently on a ventilator. He has been transferred to Marshfield for more advanced care, which has placed a heavy emotional and financial strain on Pat and Tina, as well as the rest of our family.

We are creating this GoFundMe to help support the growing costs that come with this crisis. The daily travel from Colfax to Marshfield, time away from work, and the need to remain close to the hospital have all added up quickly.

In addition, Pat and Tina’s adult sons, who are on the autism spectrum, require consistent care and support. During this emergency, family members have been stepping in to stay with them and help care for them, but this has still created financial strain and added responsibilities.

The family also needs help covering the cost of people taking care of Pat’s farm while he’s in the hospital.
