HELP PAT JOLLY KEEP HER HOME
She is 73 and disabled and needs help

Code Enforcement of New Orleans may cause Pat Jolly to lose her home because they found her guilty of needing to paint her house. (fined $800) If she is not compliant within their eminent time frame then she will be FINED $500 A DAY plus a lien will be placed on her home.

Pat Jolly recently wrote "If I and not successful in getting my house painted by their deadline, it could cause me to lose my house making me homeless and no longer able to protect the antiques and possessions of 5 generations of New Orleanians until my grandchildren (and future generations born after I die) are older and have homes!! I have contacted more than a dozen non-profits in the past few months but could not find one willing to paint it so I am now desperate as the clock ticks!! MY ONLY OPTION NOW IS TO RAISE FUNDS QUICKLY TO HIRE SOMEONE TO BEGIN PAINTING IMMEDIATELY because having a signed contract would be the only way of getting another stay of execution (time extension). Plus having a sign in my front yard by the painting company while seeing work done will satisfy the inspectors that keep checking up!!!

I do not know what to ask for because I have only had one proposal which was $28,000 with two more painting companies being set up to give their estimates. "

Pat Jolly has spent most of her life volunteering her time in many ways giving back to the community she loves dearly, so lets help her when she needs it ... NOW!!

Patrice Fisher offered to be her fiscal agent through her non-profit IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization Musicians for Music so people can have a tax write-off for their donations, however FYI write offs are never possible for anyone purchasing anything.

She has no savings because she took care of her invalid and blind mother for 22 years. She said that the worst part is that she has roof damage which is the real necessity as it is damaging her home so painting her house is low on her priority list!!

Pat Jolly just had a skin cancer procedure last week having had mohs surgeries 2x previously for Squamous cell carcinoma. She has been hospitalized 3 times in the recent past having had surgeries (doctors told her that she could die) followed by a few more procedures because of complications starting with dental work that gave her lockjaw. She still needs another surgery from the loss of most of her teeth called Alveoloplasty (jawbone reshaping).

Pat Jolly is a noted cultural photographer of New Orleans whose work has appeared in museums and on the covers of magazines. Her photographs documenting the city’s music and culture have been exhibited in dozens of local galleries and exhibition spaces. Numerous artists, musicians and journalists have used her images for albums, CDs, press packets, books, magazines and websites. She has been planning to have a photo sale offering her friend price to raise funds because she borrowed money for co-pays, plumbers and car problems. However having a compromised immune system and not as much life force as normal has delayed that process. She would be happy to make a photo offer to anyone contributing more than $100 in gratitude for your support.

She further wrote:
"My doctor at the Musicians Clinic found a professional freely offering his services to be my contact intermediary in getting bids (his expertise) in order to get this project going immediately so he is getting three with known bonded companies having records of stability who work cheaper than most. The essential ingredient is that he knows and has established relationships with them so they would be willing to accept money as it comes along knowing that the gofundme site is in progress, but of course they need funds to get supplies in order to begin."

"All this is a result of someone reporting that my house needs painting (the city refuses to tell me who) because the culprit is trying to create a scenario where they can buy my home cheaply!!! I recently received a text (how did they get my cell number?) asking if I want to sell my home!!! All this stress is taking a toll on my health making healing and sleep required for healing problematic. I am blessed that loving friends have generously offered to paint for me, but I have been advised that it would be dangerous using tall ladders so that backup plan has been abandoned. "

Please help her further by taking a few minutes to post the gofundme URL on Facebook and also send it to those on your email list.

Thank you caring friends!!!!!!!!
