Hi, in order to run Party In The Ponds 2026 we need your help.
Every year the costs for the event rise as we are required to provide more and more facilities, safety measures and security as the event grows.
We currently get just over half of our funding from charging for market stalls and from the food and drink vendors, however the rest is from donations and very kind sponsorship from local businesses. We are always struggling to achieve the rest of the required funds, particularly in these difficult economic times of the past few years, so we really need to raise £4,000 from our wonderful community.
We had over 8,000 attendees last year so it’s kinda like 50 pence each person attending. If we can raise this amount it will ensure we are able to pay for the venue permissions, the required insurances to hold the event (around £2,500), for the staging costs and PA (around £3,600) and then of course we need toilets (around £2,400). The refuse and recycling bins (£700), the first aid and ambulance (£800) and security staff to keep us safe (£600) - there are other costs but we cover them via the other income.
As you can see, when it is all added together it’s a big cost. If you are able to donate, then please do. Your donation goes straight to funding the event. None of the organising committee or event volunteers receive any pay or anything else for their work on this event.
