My name is Paris, and I’m reaching out because I’m facing homelessness at just 19 years old. I don’t have any reliable family to turn to for help, and despite applying to over 200 jobs, I haven’t been able to find work. One of the biggest challenges I’m facing is that my mom pressed false charges against me, which led to an arrest that is now on my record. This has made it even harder for me to find a job and get back on my feet. I’m doing my best to care for myself and my two cats, but it’s getting harder to feed them and myself each day. My siblings are in the military and currently on missions, so I can’t reach them for support, and my mom recently took back the car she had given me, making things even more difficult.

The funds from this fundraiser will go directly toward securing a safe place for me and my cats to stay. Once we have a roof over our heads, I’ll be able to take my cats to the vet for the checkups they need and make sure they’re healthy and cared for. My hope is that, with some stability, I’ll be able to find work and eventually save up for a car, which will open up even more opportunities for me to get back on my feet.
