8 years ago, Rob went to the hospital with what we thought was a heart attack. It turned out that he was in kidney failure. He has been on dialysis, 3 times a week, since September of 2017 (currently 1,170 times). We have faced many hurdles in the last 8 years trying to get on the kidney transplant list. In 2020, we thought we were going to make it, but instead, he had open-heart surgery. Then, for a short time, they thought he needed a kidney and heart transplant, but God was showing off and his heart healed. Now God is showing off again, we have been placed on the transplant waiting list. According to Vanderbilt, Rob shouldn’t have to wait long as the typical wait is 5 to 8 years and he has 8 years credit.

Why are we asking for help - we will have to stay in Nashville a minimum of 6 weeks after we get the call and he has the surgery. Christie will have to take leave from work, and bills will have to be paid as well as expenses in Nashville. If you can help, thank you.
