<div>8 years ago, Rob went to the hospital with what we thought was a heart attack. It turned out that he was in kidney failure. He has been on dialysis, 3 times a week, since September of 2017 (currently 1,170 times). We have faced many hurdles in the last 8 years trying to get on the kidney transplant list. In 2020, we thought we were going to make it, but instead, he had open-heart surgery. Then, for a short time, they thought he needed a kidney and heart transplant, but God was showing off and his heart healed. Now God is showing off again, <strong>we have been placed on the transplant waiting list</strong>. According to Vanderbilt, Rob shouldn’t have to wait long as the typical wait is 5 to 8 years and he has 8 years credit.
