Hi there! My name is Lori - Pam is my best friend. I am sharing her story and raising funds for her and her kids because they are the closest thing I've had to family for years. I met Pam when my son was 5 months old (he's 14 now) at a local group for single moms. Since then, we've been a team - sharing our struggles, our successes, and our families. Pam works so hard - she put herself through school while running her own business and raising kids. She has a great job and is also generous beyond measure.
Pam has 5 kids, 3 of them adopted, including 2 littles with medical needs. Her oldest is in college and the middle two are talented high school students and athletes. The two littles have multiple medical appointments each week, some of which needed to be canceled due to this crime that was committed.
These criminals stole her 2018 Toyota Highlander out of her driveway with two car seats and Christmas presents inside. She is at a loss, as she owes on the vehicle what it is worth. Replacing it with something to get her kids around is going to be a hardship and huge challenge.
Pam does not ask for help - it's probably the only thing that we've argued about over the years. However, it is with her permission that I've started this GoFundMe in hopes of taking some of the load off of her. There is never a good time to have a crime committed against you, but it seems to hit a bit harder when it is the Christmas season.
If you feel like giving, even a little... it will go a long way.
Details of the crime:
The Bethany community was hit hard overnight on early Tuesday morning between 3-4am. Three males went on a crime spree targeting every car in their path. The three criminals are caught on multiple Ring cameras - breaking into cars and stealing personal belongings. Pam has gone door-to-door seeking additional footage. They can be seen in each of the videos, along with the car they drove along the way, though the plate number is not clear. It's her hope that someone can recognize them and has shared the images on neighborhood groups and local news channels.
