I am a mother of four children from Palestine. We have recently arrived in St. John’s, Newfoundland, seeking safety, stability, and a chance to build a better future after years of hardship.

I do not have asylum status, and all of our moving and settlement expenses are being paid entirely out of pocket. The cost of relocating, securing housing, furnishing a home, and covering basic living expenses has become overwhelming.

I am doing everything I can to rebuild our lives, but I am not yet able to work in my professional field. I am determined to become self-sufficient and contribute to our new community, but right now we urgently need help to cover unexpected settlement costs.
