Help Overcome Ovarian Cancer: Donate for Medical Bills
Donation protected
On May 2nd, I went to the ER with a bloated stomach and tight chest. I assumed it was something related to the gastric bypass surgery I had in 2023 but was quickly told otherwise.
Long story short, I have ovarian cancer. No symptoms, no family history, and I visit my gyno annually.
I will be doing 3 cycles of chemo, have a CT, and if the tumor has shrunk, I will be having a total hysterectomy with the possibility of a colostomy bag. After surgery, I will receive at least 3 more cycles of chemo.
I have submitted claims for short-term disability and a critical illness policy I pay for; however, I was just told that the critical care policy needs additional info, and once they receive it, it will be 10 business days to process, and if approved, an additional 5 business days to direct deposit the money. Bills don’t stop because you’re sick. I hate asking for money, but the medical bills are piling up along with our other monthly expenses.
Any help is appreciated
