Save Our Shed: Aryan's Eagle Project

Hello everyone! My name is Aryan, I've been a scout since 1st grade and I am a member of Troop 2000 in Johns Creek, Georgia. I'm currently a Life Scout working on my Eagle Project.

My Eagle Scout Project is to support Johns Creek Presbyterian Church by restoring and beautifying its storage shed, which is located on the northwest corner of the property near the baseball field. This shed plays an important role in storing tools and equipment that help maintain the church grounds, but over time, it has suffered from weather damage and general wear and tear.

To improve the shed, I will be scraping and repainting the peeling double doors, removing a rotten wood window covering and replacing it with shutters, repairing damaged fascia boards and roofing, and pressure washing and repainting the entire structure to give it a clean and finished look. These improvements will not only enhance the shed’s durability but also contribute to the overall beauty and upkeep of the church property.
