Help our school's families in need

I am starting a fundraising to help my school's families in need. COVID-19 has affected many of our school's families. Some parents have been unable to work or have limited resources due to the quarantine that is in place. I want to collect as much money as possible to help them with nonperishable food so that students at my school can continue to enjoy a healthy and well-balanced diet. While some people may think school lunch is not the best, students looked forward to Pizza Fridays and Chicken Nugget Thursdays from time to time. Having to stretch every dollar they get, many families cannot splurge on a treat like this, and I know this is one of the things our students will be missing the most about school. The funds raised will also go towards making sure that every family at my school has at least one more Pizza Friday by the end of the school year.
Many students are receiving assignments that require more than just a computer, so the funds will also be used to secure essential school supplies and arts and crafts materials so that our students can continue to engage in learning from home without forgoing the most fun activities because they require resources they do not have. 
Your support means a lot to me since we will be helping many parents take some pressure of their shoulders during these harsh times.  Every little donation is helpful and will bring a smile to a child's face.
