Hello, my name is Christina. I never thought that I would ever ask anyone for help and even as I write this, it is extremely difficult for me to do this. I met my husband 7yrs ago and we got married 4yrs after that. We share an amazing live together, one that some people dream about. He would do anything for me as I would do anything for him. As most relationships evolve, some decide to start a family. My husband and I are at that point where we hope to start a family together.

Unfortunately, my husband had a vasectomy 18yrs ago which has brought us to the path of IVF. We started IVF a year ago and its something a lot of men and woman don't think about until the time comes they want to start a family and find out that something is wrong and they need help to get there. The process has been an overwhelming rollercoaster since we started. The emotions men and woman go through and the strength it takes each day just to hope that it works is insane, but we don't regret starting the process. We had hoped that with some science and lots of love, we would have our prayers answered and have a beautiful baby to raise.

After a year of medication, having to take hundreds of injections, & many nights of crying, praying and hoping, we ended up at 2 failed transfers. Each failed transfer felt like my heart was being ripped out of my chest and I know it was difficult for my husband to see me in my darkest moments. Its taken me a while to come out of my darkness and to sit down with my husband to go over the next steps. We decided not to give up but that we would need help with our second attempt at IVF.

We hope to reach our goal and that this next fight will be the one we can win to be able to have a family.
