The lovely little cottage is Glemsford had a fire today. The roof looks to be gone, the firefighters closed our road and someones lives turned upside down! This gofundme is to bring a little community spirit.to them and the firefighters. 50/50 shared between them..

At 23.20 the fire crew are still here, and expect to be around all night, the electric is now off on some houses nearby.

The crew said they were happy that the village is getting behind this campaign, and said a similar effort was done for a house in Bardwell. Thank you all..

15/08/25 - I have had a request to adjust the donation split from 50/50 [residents and firefighters charity] to more for the residents. So, to respond to this ask, and in the hope it boosts donations anything received from 16/08/25 will be split between just the 2 adjoining properties. I will review again in 2 weeks.
