Honouring Jay’s Final Wish: A Home for Peyton, Layne & Macca

Our mum, Jay, has always been our rock—a devoted single mother who worked tirelessly to give us a stable, loving home. She raised the three of us—Peyton (19), Layne (17), and Mackenzie (15)—with strength, warmth, and endless love.

In March of 2025, our world was turned upside down when Mum was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Doctors gave her about one year to live. It’s been a devastating and heartbreaking time, but even in the face of this news, Mum has remained focused on what matters most: her children.

A few years ago, Mum accomplished something incredible—she purchased the home we’ve lived in for over 10 years. It was one of her proudest achievements, a place full of memories and love. Now, her final wish is to pay off the remaining mortgage so that Layne and Mackenzie can continue living here after she’s gone, and so all three of us can hold on to the one place that has always felt like home.
