Help our Mom (Sue LeMere) get her money back!

Hi all! As one of many of Mom's (Sue's) family members, I wanted to reach out to you to share mom's story that happened on January 9th of this week- many of you are in the dark about it but many of you may know my mom got scammed on Tuesday afternoon.

When I share with you that she was trembling with fear, shaken to the core with threats, and experienced heart wrenching emotions I am not lying. The trauma that she has endured is beyond one's worst imagination.

Around 12 pm in the afternoon she received a phone call that our brother Tim was in a car accident, that a newborn baby was killed, that my brother was going to prison for vehicular manslaughter, and she was on the phone for hours and hours on Tuesday afternoon trying to find a way to help her beloved son. As any mother would, she wanted to get him out of jail, to pay his bail and to make this living nightmare go away. It was not until HOURS of lies and stories later and after a racing trip to multiple banks that she was able to get enough money to pay off a "bail bond" in hopes that she could see her son one last time before he went off to prison.

The scammers lured her in, threatened her, knows where she lives and she still, (even though she knows she was scammed) still cannot believe it was NOT real. She truly believed he was done...his job, his life, an innocent unborn baby, her everything...gone.

At the end the Saratoga Springs police department were able to arrest and charge one of the MANY people responsible for scamming our mother. Which took hours for our mother to endure and lure them in! Investigators were involved, an intense arrest was made.

She handed over $16,400 dollars in cash to a person she believed was working with Tim's lawyer to get him out to be able to see him one last time before he was sentenced for vehicular manslaughter. This is something that no innocent person (like our Sweet Mimi) should have to experience.

And if you know our Mimi...her heart was in the right place and all she cared about and still cares about is that everyone is safe. She has no idea we are creating this go fund me...this is to help her have some love spread her way and show her what she did...could have happened to any caring or concerned mother.
