If you know Ginny Buckner, you know she is the most amazing lady who has been an amazing mother, Grammy, friend, listener, prayer warrior, and encourager. A few years ago we noticed a decline in her memory. What was attributed to aging, later became a dementia diagnosis. Sadly, her health has declined rapidly over the last year. She now requires round the clock care. Finances have been diminished to help cover the full cost of this kind of care. The process of getting VA benefits is underway, which will help cover her cost, but the process is very slow. If our Mom & Grammy has ever meant anything to you or if you know our family and are in a position to help contribute to her care, it would be appreciated more than words. This has been the hardest and most unexpected season. Funds will go to cover her full time care, as well as provide for needs and other expenses. Ginny’s favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11. “For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not harm you. Plans to give you a future and a hope.” We are clinging to this.
