My grandparents built our family home from the ground up in the early 60’s, this wasn’t just a residence, 115 Monrovia is a staple in our family, many of us was raised in that home, some of our family died in that home, my granny provided a safe space for many of the citizens of pd not only family.. It’s heartbreaking to see my granny cry and to hear the pain in her voice when she said.
“ OLE MAN, EVERYTHING I WORKED SO HARD FOR IS GONE, I BEEN IN THAT HOUSE OVER 65 YEARS, MY CAR AND EVERYTHING IS GONE.”
BUT GRANNY, You’re STILL HERE AND THATS ALL THAT MATTERS..
If you would like to help in anyway please reach out to me.. Mary Louise Willis is a strong women, but at 96 and having everything taken away you’ve worked so hard for is heartbreaking and discouraging..
She is home with me where she will be until we get things situated, a hug, call, prayer anything is greatly appreciated ..yall please help me lift her spirits…
