We are raising money to help our Jamaica Plain neighbors repair their brick chimney, which is literally falling down brick by brick. This is putting them and the  people passing by at risk of getting hurt. They are an elderly brother and sister, both with serious health problems and no income. They care and are doing the best they can to maintain their home, but will not be able to repair this on their own. The city has given several warnings and we worry that without this repair, their housng  will be jeapordized.  They need all  the help they can get. We got a quote from a contractor saying it will cost around $3,000-$3,500 to fix the problem.
If we can come together, we can help these folks keep their home and also help keep those passing by safe. Thank you so much! Winter is coming and everyone deserves a safe and cozy home!
