My name is Scott Burns, and my life is defined by Men’s Gymnastics.
At 6-years old I began training in a gymnastics gym. As a teen I entered an elite men’s gymnastics program. Ultimately, I joined the Air Force Academy and competed at the NCAA level fulfilling my childhood dream.
As coach, owner, and founder of Game Time Elite Gymnastics, I am fired up to provide our boys the opportunity to reach their highest potential and to make their gymnastics dreams a reality. I am committed to delivering high quality gymnastics in a positive, safe, and enjoyable environment as part of my overall mission to support young athletes in their physical, mental, and social development.
In 2020, at the height of the pandemic, my Boy's team was left with no place to train, so I had the crazy idea to open my own gym. After a lot of searching, we found a suitable space in Milpitas, CA that had high enough ceilings and about 12,000 sq ft.
As our building was sold a couple months ago, we were in need again of a place for not only our Boy's team but our recreational kids to continue training. As our programs have grown, we’ve recognized the need to find not just a new space, but a large better fitting space. We are delighted to announce that we have found and secured the perfect venue to fulfill Game Time Elite Gymnastics ultimate vision.
Located at The Great Mall in Milpitas, CA, our new gym will boast 21,000 sq feet which gives us the opportunity to expand our programs and bring in more equipment. That’s where you come in – for Game Time to achieve its highest potential, we need your support.
You can help us BUILD PITS and FILL THE GYM!
One of the many advantages this new site allows is the capacity to build pits filled with air bags or foam blocks. Pits allow our athletes to train higher level skills with a lower risk of injury and fear.
Building a gymnastics pit requires the construction of a massive wood structure to raise the floor. This will help take our boys’ training to the premier elite level and allow our recreational kids to attempt harder skills and have more fun while in the gym.
This will be a massive undertaking and expense, but we feel this is next piece of equipment we need to add to the gym. We are estimating the cost of this structure to be at $20,000. Any funds collected over this amount will be used to fill all the extra space with more equipment to continue to make Game Time Elite Gymnastics the best gymnastics gym in Northern California!
Thank you for your generosity, your continued support and your belief in our programs.
