My wife and I are expecting our first child, and while this should be one of the happiest times in our lives, it’s also been one of the hardest. We currently share one car, which has become extremely challenging since my cancer treatments are an hour and a half away — and after each treatment, I have to isolate from my wife for 24 hours for her safety and our baby’s.

My wife still works full time, and balancing her job, pregnancy, and my medical needs has been overwhelming. Her mother has selflessly put her life on hold to drive me to appointments, but we know that isn’t sustainable forever.

We’re simply trying to get a cheap, reliable car to make these trips possible and ease some of the stress on our family as we prepare for our baby’s arrival. With medical bills and baby expenses piling up, we can’t afford it on our own right now.
